“I like how they get up and down,” Gordon said. The other favorite on Gordon’s list is Washington. “[Lorenzo] Romar’s my boy,” he said of the Huskies’ head coach. Arizona and Kansas are two of the other schools under consideration by Gordon at this point.
This kid is explosive. I know highlight tapes can be deceiving, but it is clear that he can play above the rim. Since Gordon is only a sophomore, there might be a chance he is still growing. He is a long and athletic player that could thrive under Romar’s system.
Husky fans should not only keep their eyes on Gordon, but also Gordon’s AAU teammate, Brandon Ashley. Ashley is currently the number one ranked power forward in the class of 2012. UW has offered a scholarship to Ashley, but has yet to offer Gordon.
